LOUD & PROUD is an inclusive band mentorship programme facilitated by a dedicated team of music therapists and adaptive music specialists. We are passionate about making musical experiences accessible and fun for everyone, especially our Disability community in Te matau-a-Māui.

Meet our Facilitators

Sinead Hegarty

Kia ora, I am Sinead Hegarty (she/they) a registered music therapist from Te matau-a-Māui, Hawkes Bay. I am proud to be the coordinator and one of the facilitators of LOUD & PROUD. Community music is a powerful way to bring people together and celebrate and affirm musicians creativity. I love collaborating with musicians who attend LOUD & PROUD and sharing in the journey of finding authentic ways of expressing ourselves and feeling seen and heard.

Campbell Burns

Campbell Burns (B.A Music) is a musician, sound artist and adaptive music specialist with over 20 years of experience using music technology to connect with people and support expanding musicians capacity to access and engage in meaningful music making experience.
